How Much Will This Cost?
This question is asked almost every time we schedule an appointment. Of course, there is no accurate answer we can give you on the phone, but we can help you understand how the industry works and give you an idea of roughly the price you can expect. We won't know if your repair will take 30 minutes or 6 hours unless we can see what needs to be done.
The way the service call works is like this:
When you phone in and request a plumber for service, we dispatch a technician with a fully stocked truck to your home as soon as one is available. It's usually the same day. You are also told about a call out fee of $39.95 which we won't charge if you go ahead with the work. Once at your home, the technician will diagnose the problem and present you with a number of repair or replacement options along with the price. The price presented will come from our honest up front price guide, and includes parts and labor so there are no hidden fees. If you agree with the price, the technician will then get you to authorize the work and he will start the work right away. If you don't agree with the cost presented to you, all you pay is the $39.95 call out fee so we can at least pay the technician for his time.
Please note that this is standard policy for regular hours only. If we need to send a technician out after 5 P.M, the call out fee does not get eliminated, and will also increase the later it gets.
